CONTEXTUAL HELP AND SUPERVISED ACTIONS
Help inside the application, right when you need it
Dimpro Assist helps users work with supported suite applications through questions in everyday language. It uses the current screen and available documentation to explain procedures. Where a supported action exists, it prepares a proposal that the user can review, adjust and confirm within the application.
- Suite users
- Technical and sales teams
- Planning teams and department managers
Benefits for your company
Get answers where questions arise
Ask about the screen you are working on and receive guidance related to its functions.
Move forward with a proposal you can review
For supported functions, the assistant prepares a draft so you can check the details before applying a change.
Your questions help improve the guidance
Feedback and unanswered questions help Vidrioservice review the content and publish more useful explanations.
What Dimpro Assist offers
Guidance for the application and screen
Explains functions and procedures using the documentation available for the product you are working in.
Conversation to clarify your request
Add clarifications and continue the conversation in context until you have defined what you need to do.
Proposals confirmed by the user
Can prepare specific actions, such as a product definition in Dimpro CW or an alert in VS.vista. The application validates the proposal and the user decides whether to confirm it.
Help with a clear scope
Distinguishes between explaining a procedure and preparing an action for execution. Available actions depend on the application, screen and permissions.
Reviewed improvements to answers
Questions without an adequate answer and negative feedback enter a review queue. Vidrioservice approves new knowledge before publishing it.
Turn a written request into a proposal you can review
Example workflow in Dimpro CW Pricing: the sales manager wants to prepare a discount for a group of customers. They describe the desired result and review the proposal before changing commercial terms.
Describe the need
The user specifies which products and customers the condition applies to and what change they want. They can add clarifications to refine the request within the conversation.
Review the proposal
For supported functions, Assist prepares a draft containing the condition’s details. The user checks its scope and simulates the effect on prices before deciding.
Confirm in the application
The application validates permissions and data when applying the change. The user retains the final decision; an explanation from the assistant does not itself change a price list.
How it connects to the suite
- Dimpro CWSupports technical product definition and commercial tasks that allow assisted actions.
- Dimpro Prod + VS.cutHelps explain planning and cutting options using the context provided by each screen.
- VS.vistaPrepares analytical proposals and alerts for the cases the application already supports.

Before choosing Dimpro Assist.
Can I use my own words?
Yes. You can describe the problem or the result you want and add clarifications during the conversation. Specifying products, customers, dates or conditions helps make the request precise. The response is based on the context and knowledge available.
Can Dimpro Assist change data without my review?
Assisted actions are presented as supervised proposals. Their availability depends on the screen, version and your permissions. Before applying an action, the application checks the data and requests the relevant confirmation.
Does it offer the same functions in every application?
Not every screen offers the same actions. Some provide guidance on a procedure, while others can prepare an executable draft. VS.install does not yet have this integration. The contextual catalogue distinguishes available guidance from actions that can be performed.
