Dimpro Assist: a companion that teaches and works with you
Dimpro Assist moves through the Vidrioservice suite as a virtual teacher and employee: it explains each context, guides the user and prepares supervised actions without taking them away from their work.
In the Vidrioservice suite, Dimpro Assist does not live in a separate window or force users to leave what they are doing. It is a companion that appears inside the applications, knows which screen is open and receives only the context it needs to understand the request. This allows it to support an order, planning, factory work, a shipment or an analysis without having to start every conversation from scratch.
Its first role is that of a teacher . It explains what we are looking at, why a piece of data matters and what the next step might be. Users can ask questions in their own words, continue the conversation and request a more specific explanation. There is no need to memorize paths, terms or procedures before getting started: help arrives where and when it is needed.
This teacher maintains a common language throughout the entire journey. It can help understand a business decision, put planning into context, clarify a production instruction, track the traceability of a piece or interpret an indicator. The information it uses changes according to the application, but it retains the same way of conversing and guiding, so the suite feels like a connected environment rather than a collection of isolated programs.
The second role appears when explaining is no longer enough. As a virtual employee , Dimpro Assist can search authorized information, organize data and prepare a structured proposal: a change to a document, a repetitive task, a draft or a recommendation based on the available context. This capability is introduced progressively wherever each application has a safe, well-defined action.
Being a virtual employee does not mean acting behind the back of the person doing the work. Before changing anything, Assist shows what it proposes, which elements it will act on and what result can be expected. The host application checks that the operation is valid, and the user decides whether to confirm, correct or discard it. The help saves work, but responsibility and control always remain in the person’s hands.
What happens when it does not have an immediate answer also matters. Dimpro Assist consults documentation and authorized sources and, if the evidence is not sufficient, says so clearly instead of improvising. The question can be recorded for review, investigation and validation by a person; it can then become a new answer, shared knowledge or even an improvement to the suite itself.
This dual role—teacher when we need to understand and virtual employee when we want to move forward—summarizes the idea behind Dimpro Assist. Its goal is not to replace the team’s experience, but to make it more accessible, reduce tasks that add no value and help every decision retain its context from the office to the factory, logistics and analysis.
