Can I choose which order lines are included in a batch?
Yes. Selection works at line level, so a batch can contain work from several orders while preserving its origin. Filters help locate the orders you want to plan and review their details before including them.
What is the difference between planning and cutting optimisation?
Planning organises what to manufacture, the resources to use and the sequence of operations. VS.cut calculates how to arrange pieces on glass sheets. Dimpro Prod connects these activities through batches and material requirements, keeping cutting preparation within the chosen plan.
What happens if a piece breaks during manufacturing?
An incident recorded on the shop floor can be tracked as a remake requirement linked to the original work. The planner reviews that requirement and decides how to include it in new production work. Tracking distinguishes the original manufacturing process from its remake.
